To the TOTE

Lately my daughter has taken a liking to crawling ontop this storage tote we have between our bed and our dresser. She always gets lickings from her daddy and scoldings from her mommy...and yet she still goes ontop. Last night we found her trying to lick the tote, GO FIGURE!!

Babies 1st Birthday

Ok, so babies birthday is in MAY...and people are asking me about her first birthday already. REALLY? Do I need to start planning now?

I know the FIRST YEAR is very important. Kaika told me that his grandma used to tell him the FIRST YEAR mark is very important because alot of babies dont make it through their first year, so you want to celebrate it when they do. I've never heard this before and I think it is great wisdom.

I am the WORST DECISION MAKER, so I will need help on choosing a theme

I really want to do one of the Sanrio characters, "KUROMI"..she is my fav character (actually the only one I like) Back in October, when i was supposed to make babies first Halloween costume, I had bought her this purple kuromi doll to go along with her costume (which i never got around to making). But I was thinking I could her 1st birthday theme this purple Kuromi. We already have purple table cloths that would go perfectly with it.

But then I saw this pink kuromi, which i fell in luv wit cuz of the flower and da bikini! So now I dont know which one to do.

And then theres the whole thing about it being BABIES party and NOT mine (because I AM the one who luvs kuromi) so I should choose a theme of something she likes...i.e.
"THE LITTLE EINSTEINS" (she luvs luvs luvs the theme song for lil einsteins"
"DESCPICABLE ME" (which she luvs, she jus sit there and jus watch it)
"PRINCESS" (im not too sure about this one, but isnt it the most typical theme for a girl)
"SHARK TALE" (which Kaika tells me she likes it, but I've never seen her watch it)
"ROCKSTAR" because I've noticed she loves music, she luvs watching me when i sing to her.
Or if there's any other theme suggestions please let me know.
So I am on my way to planning my daughters 1st birthday, lets hope i can keep the momentum going!

Lez-Bro

Before baby was born me and kaika we're watching this MTV show "Is She Really Going Out With Him". Basically the show is about these girls going out with douch (?spelling) bags, honestly the best thing about this show is they give these guys nick-names...they are hilarious!!

I'm jus gonna list a couple of the names these guys were given by MTV

-"The Jerz Pud", -"Sir Bag-A-Lot"

Then there was this episode "The Lady Bag", was about this lesbian couple. "the lady bag" in the episode had friends and they were nick-named "Lez-Bro". Oh, and once kaika heard that name he went off...oh my daughter's gonna be a "lez-bro" this and that...still till this day he keeps talkin bout bby is gonna be a "lez-bro" and he calls Hehiwa "my son"..."come here my son"

He even made her a onezie....AND yes that is WAIANAE all over da shirt as well...lol!!

So yes, this is the kinda stuff kaika comes up wit...which is exactly the kinda stuff that made me fall in luv wit him...lol!!

I luv it when I come home from work and i find random video's on the camera of kaika and hehiwa's day! Here are a couple of those kine video's.



I swear I feed my kid

One night we we're watching The Little Einsteins and my daughter crawls out into the hall. It was quiet for a bit so i decided to go out and check on her. This is what I caught her doing

Before i started video taping her I took some photo's, she actually started with the mirror and then moved her way down to the wall. Now I dont kno why but its always this spot, she did try to lick one of our bedroom doors but she must not have liked the taste because she started crying right after she licked it...lol! I actually first caught her around the beginning of December, she still likes to lick the mirror and wall but she doesnt do it as often anymore.

I SWEAR I DONT STARVE MY KID TO POINT SHE HAS TO START LICKING MIRRORS AND WALLS!!

I dont know if you can tell, but i think i keep my baby pretty well fed...if you take a look @ her opu...lol

Im still trying to figure out why she likes to do this...Maybe this is one of those things that as a parent you will never understand why your child acts the way they do!! I WILL NEVER KNOW
